Adult and child die in fatal collision on Springbank in Hull – road closures in place

A man has been arrested following the death of an adult and child in a collision on Springbank, Hull.

Officers were called to the scene following reports the pedestrians had been in collision with a lorry, shortly after 2pm today, Friday, April 29.

The male driver of the lorry has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Ambulance crews and the fire service also attended the scene.

Road closures are in place in both directions from Blundells Corner to Princes Avenue, including all roads onto Springbank.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
