Humberside Police were called shortly before 5.30pm on Friday (31 March) by the ambulance service following an attack on a two people in a house on Parliament Street, Goole, during a burglary.
A number of people broke into the house and two suspects used, what is thought to be, a baseball bat or metal bar to hit two victims around the head. Both victims were treated at Hull Royal Infirmary for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Humberside Police are asking for anyone who knows anything about the incident to call them as a matter of urgency on 101 quoting crime reference 2260927.
