Delighted winners celebrate success at prestigious business awards ceremony

There were tears of joy and plenty of laughter at this year’s glittering event to celebrate the best of local businesses, the Sixth Goole and Howdenshire Business Awards 2016.

Hosted by TV personality Harry Gration, the ceremony was staged by the Awards Committee in partnership with the Hull and Humber Chamber of Commerce. The Tim Richardson Lifetime Achievement Award, in honour of the late Goole businessman, went to Yvonne and Alan Humble of Howden, for their extraordinary work with, and lifelong dedication to, the Goole Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society.

The Overall Business Of the Year went to All Occasions Florists in Howden.
