Exciting pond safari this Sunday (12 June) at Eastrington Ponds, near Howden

There will be a chance to join a Wildlife Pond Safari at Eastrington Ponds Local Nature Reserve near Howden (DN14 7PL) on Sunday (12 June) from 10am to 12 noon.

The event will be an exciting exploration of the ponds and an opportunity to  discover the variety of creatures lurking in their murky depths. From the safety of the shore, participants will look out for ferocious water scorpions, curious water stick insects and amazing dragonfly nymphs dwelling below.

Pond dipping nets and trays will be provided at the event, which is suitable for all ages.

Tickets must be booked in advance, and cost : Adults: £3.50, adults over 60: £2.50, children & young people under 16: £2.50, family ticket (up to 2 adults and 3 children): £9.
