Fatal collision on A614 Howden

Howden: Road closures in place following sad death of cyclist

A female cyclist has sadly died following a collision with a heavy goods vehicle on the A614 Thorpe Road, Howden.

Officers were called at 7.40am today, Thursday, June 23, by ambulance crews who treated her at the scene.

The HGV did not stop and officers are appealing for information to help them trace the vehicle, which was said to be mainly red.

Road closures are in place between Howden and Holme on Spalding Moor.
