Four hospital governor positions available

Ever thought about being in a position where you can influence decisions on hospital services?

Now is your chance as Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is looking for prospective hospital governors in Grimsby, East and West Lindsay and Goole ahead of its elections.

Governors are the link between the hospital members and directors, responsible for conveying information about affordability, service plans and health improvement initiatives. The following seats are available in each constituency:

• One in Goole and Howdenshire
• Two in North East Lincolnshire
• One in East and West Lindsey.

To provide more information about the governor role the Trust will host a number of road shows. These will take place in:

Goole:

• Wednesday March 2 from 10am to 11.30am, conference room at Goole hospital.
• Thursday March 3 from 5.30pm to 7pm, conference room at Goole hospital

Scunthorpe:

• Thursday February 25, from 5.30pm to 7pm, lecture theatre, Butterwick House, Scunthorpe hospital
• Friday February 26, from 10.00am to 11.30am, lecture theatre, Butterwick House, Scunthorpe hospital

Grimsby:

• Monday February 22 from 10am to 11.30am, Windsor room, education centre, Grimsby hospital
• Wednesday February 24, from 5.30pm to 7pm, Windsor room, education centre, Grimsby hospital
