If you’re looking for a fun idea for the Easter half-term break, what could be better than a teddy bears’ picnic?

Goole Waterways Museum is hosting a picnic for bears of all kinds (and their owners) on Thursday April 5th.

Pack up some sandwiches and a blanket, and of course your favourite bear, and head on over to the museum for a relaxing few hours on the grass with your family and friends. The event is being organised in conjunction with Goole District Lions and food and picnic lunches will also be available from the cafe on the day. There will also be competitions and boat trips. The picnic will take place between 11am and 2pm.

The Waterways Museum will also be open for Mother’s Day, with freshly cut daffodils for sale and cream teas. There will also be a car boot sale and Goole Docks boat trips all day. £5 for adults, £3 for children and £15 for families (two adult and up to three children).
