Police Constable Tracy St Paul from Goole CID said, “A 29 year-old Goole man was arrested in the early hours of this morning when we were called to a hotel on Hook Road after a report of a burglary in progress.
“We received a call at 1.37am and officers were on the scene at 1.42am. The man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and remains in our custody.”
