“When it comes to luxury items such as hot tubs and ponds, bear in mind that these could in fact alienate families who consider this a safety concern, hence affecting the resale value and desirability of your property. These types of improvements are only ever likely to be worth the amount they cost to put in at best, the real value is in the lifestyle choice. If you want to increase the value of your property I recommend updating your kitchen and bathroom. Many people consider these to be the key rooms in a home, modernising these areas, incorporating contemporary designs, will certainly help boost both value and saleability of your property.”
