Goole’s Junction has just announced that their application for National Portfolio Organisation status to the Arts Council has been successful, meaning the venue will continue to receive funding for the next 4 years.
Charlie Studdy, Arts and Leisure Manager said: ‘We’re thrilled to be part of the National Portfolio for at least another four years. It secures the wide range of arts activity that Junction produces in the town and area and continues to put Goole on the map. The whole team here deserves every congratulation – the Arts Council’s assessment of our previous work and future plans shows we have strongly met all their criteria and they described our programme for children and young people as outstanding.’
The funding will be used to support the programme of professional work at Junction, their workshop groups and outreach activities and ensure the venue is able to continue to deliver high-quality arts to the region.
Everyone here at Our Goole would like to congratulate Junction on this fantastic news. Junction’s contribution to our community never goes unnoticed and they truly are an asset to our town. Here’s to 4 more years!
