Making Goole great

Our Goole, in collaboration with Business in Goole are proud to announce their exciting new partnership.

This strong new alliance will allow us to work together to lift the town, promote its uniqueness, celebrate its rich heritage and share its community spirit.

Speaking about the new venture, Leigh Johnson, Renaissance Co-ordinator for the East Riding of Yorkshire Council said: “Business in Goole (BIG) is excited to be working together with Our Goole to let Yorkshire and the rest of the world know just how proud we are of our town. BIG is very much a community of local business owners who enjoy sharing ideas, planning events and supporting the development of Goole’s economy. We deliver projects that celebrate Goole’s retail, leisure and the recreation on offer and aim to make Goole a great place.

“We want an appealing town centre for both consumers and investors that will provide a range of well-known markets, events, festivals, retail and leisure services. We want people to celebrate the town’s unique setting and style. By working together with Our Goole and focusing on helping and promoting Goole’s businesses, individuals and community, we can achieve these goals. In the next few months we will be re-launching our I Love Goole website where you’ll be able to see all the special offers available to residents and visitors to our town.”
