A man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault following two reported incidents in Goole earlier today.
Humberside Police were called shortly before 9am with reports that a man had allegedly approached a woman in on Boothferry Road and touched her inappropriately.
A short while later we received a report of a similar incident on Manuel Street, where a woman said that a man touched her inappropriately in the street.
Officers attended and carried out a search of the area and a man was arrested nearby, he remains in our custody whilst enquiries continue.
