Missing man found deceased

Mr Hand was found by the marine unit officers who were searching a stretch of water near Sugar Mill Ponds, Rawcliffe Bridge on the morning of Monday 12 August.

His family has been informed and are being supported by officers at this difficult time.

Roy Hand had been reported as missing on 8 August.

Humberside Police are not treating Mr Hand’s death as suspicious. A file is being prepared for HM Coroner.
