Four pupils from The Read School last week received their latest music qualifications when they were presented with their certificates.
Entered for examinations in singing by Mr Richard Moulson, the pupils achieved excellent results in their respective classes;
Ben Abrams (14) Distinction in Grade 3 Singing awarded by Trinity Board
Lexie Maw (12) Merit in Grade 3 Singing awarded by London College of Music
Isla McLellan (14) Merit in Grade 3 Singing awarded by London College of Music
Ruby Addy (17) Merit in Grade 6 Singing awarded by Rock School
Acting Headmaster, Mr Mark Voisey said; ‘ It is gratifying to see that the hard work of the students and staff has paid off with fantastic results such as these. It has always been a part of the Read School ethos that each student is encouraged to take part in a wide ranging choice of activities and the benefit of this is ratified by the number of well-rounded young adults who eventually leave us to take their places in the outside world.
Congratulations to Ben, Lexie, Isla and Ruby on a wonderful achievement’.
