Officer to face disciplinary hearing

A police misconduct hearing has been scheduled to take place on Wednesday March 1, 2017 commencing at 10:00 a.m.  This announcement replaces a previous announcement of a hearing that had been scheduled for 4th and 5th January 2017 and all references to dishonesty have been removed from the allegations.

The officer is Police Constable Amanda Marrison.

The allegation is that conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of Duties & Responsibilities contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2012.  The allegation relates to the officer taking unauthorised leave on several occasions.  Also failing to inform management of appointments and failure to maintain accurate records.

The proceedings will take place at Humberside Police Headquarters, Priory Road, Hull HU5 5SF. Anyone wishing to attend the hearing should please pre-register by sending their details to the following e-mail address PSBAdmin@humberside.pnn.police.uk.   The details required from applicants are; name, date of birth, address, email address and contact telephone number.

Available space will limit numbers of the public attending to 6.

A notification will be sent to successful applicants by Monday February 27, 2017.

Please note we cannot permit filming or recording of the proceedings, and attendees consent to a search prior to entry to the police station. They will also be asked to provide valid photographic identification such as a passport or driving licence.

Please note that there are limited parking spaces and refreshments, whilst not provided are available. If you have any access or other requirements, please indicate on your application.

Other restrictions may apply at the discretion of the person chairing or conducting the misconduct hearing.
