Thorpe Road Avenue, Howden, will be closed from Wednesday, April 26 2017 between 9.30am and 3.30pm
East Riding of Yorkshire Council said the closure is necessary to enable road maintenance work to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
Work is anticipated to be completed within approximately three weeks.
The road will be closed at all times to all traffic, but access will be maintained for emergency services and pedestrians. Restricted access will be maintained for properties affected by the closure when excavation works are being undertaken.
