Goole GoFar Community Transport Service are celebrating after receiving a right royal seal of approval!
The unique transport service have completed a regal hat-trick with this, their third royal award. The Duke of York’s Community Initiative Award has been presented to Frank Bryars, Vice Chair of the group, by His Royal Highness at an awards ceremony at Huddersfield University.
GoFar offers transport solutions to the local community in order to help reduce isolation for the elderly and frail, allow low income families the chance of days out, youth groups to access leisure activities and, as their vehicles are accessible it allows people with either physical or learning difficulties to easily make use of their services.
Speaking to Our Goole, Christine Dales, Business Manager at GoFar said:
