Two men who died in Garrowby Hill collision named

Two men who sadly died in a collision on Garrowby Hill on Saturday 3 August have been named as 65 year-old Michael Midgley from Goole and 64 year-old Geoffrey Toase from York.

The two men died when the motorcycles they were riding were in collision with a silver VW Polo travelling along the A166 in the direction towards Fridaythorpe.

The 32-year-old driver remains in hospital with serious injuries.

Humberside Police continue to appeal for witnesses.  Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or any of the vehicles prior to the collision, is asked to please call 101 quoting log number 428 of 3rd August 2019.
