UPDATE: Three hurt in Humber Bridge collision

Three people have received treatment for minor injuries following a two car collision on the Humber Bridge yesterday.

Police were called at 3.19pm on Tuesday, June 14 to reports of a road traffic collision on the A15, Humber Bridge south bound involving a red Vauxhall Astra and a silver Mini Cooper.

The bridge was closed to all south bound traffic as emergency services attended the scene.

One person needed to be freed from their car as their injuries were initially believed to be serious, however they, along with two others received treatment for minor injuries.

The bridge was fully re-opened at approx 5.15pm.
