There’s never been a better time to sign up to an adult learning course in and around Goole and Howden.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s new adult learning course guides are out now. Aimed at people aged 19 years and over, the course guides have plenty to offer people living in and around Goole and Howden. Whether you are looking to improve your skills, gain new qualifications, or learn something completely new, there really is something for everyone.
Starting in January we have courses on offer that can help you to improve your IT, English and maths skills as well as our most popular courses including counselling, mindfulness, teaching assistant qualifications and photography.
If you fancy learning a brand new hobby or skill, we also have a range of art, crafts, creative writing and paper sculpture courses on offer. Not sure adult learning is for you? Register for a free taster session during January and get an idea of what’s on in the classroom, what adult learning centres are like and meet our fantastic tutors. There’s no pressure to commit to anything further and you may just find something that you really enjoy.
You can pick up a copy of our new course guide at the adult learning centre on Pasture Road in Goole or any East Riding library, leisure centre or customer service centre. Alternatively, download a copy online at www.eastriding.gov.uk/learn.
To book a place on a course or a free taster session you can book online or call 01482 392844. Concessions may apply – ask at time of booking.
