Goole and District RSPCA Dog Show returns on Saturday, June 18 from 1-4pm at West Park, Goole.
Whether you’re convinced your dapper dog is the Most Handsome Male, your cute canine is the prettiest Bitch or think that together you make Best Six Legs, there’s something for everyone at the annual fun dog show.
Goole and District RSPCA is run by a team of dedicated volunteers and fosterers. The branch raises most of its own funds through various events throughout the year, and now in its 11th year the annual show is arguably the charity’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
Every penny raised goes towards helping animals in the Goole and District area.
This year’s dog show marks the return of a veterans class, and other classes include best child handler, cutest pup (6-12 months), prettiest eyes, waggiest tail, sit and wait, fun run and best in show. At just £1 a class to enter you’d be barking mad not to give it a go. Winners and runners up receive goody bags and special rosettes.
There will be lots of stalls around the arena, pet tombola, a bouncy castle and slide, face painting, children’s rides, the ever popular model train ride, craft and sweets stalls and much, much more.
New for this year is pet photographer Andrea Turvey offering snaps of you and your prized pooch. Bartholomew the Mascot will be running the raffle, there will be a fire engine in attendance and 2015-16 Mayor Ian Blackburn will be compering the event. Tombola and raffle prizes can be dropped off at Petty Motors, Chapel Street, Goole.
There is no admission fee on the day. Call 07599087527 for more details or visit: www.rspca-goole.org.uk
